We’re delighted to announce that we will shortly be extending our range of services to cover MG cars. The decision to offer focused service and repairs to the MG range of cars was a straightforward one! With a number of us already enthusiasts of the marque (one of our staff members actually campaigns a ZS180 in the Peter Best Insurance Challenge) is seems a natural progression in the direction of the company to add the MG marque to our remit, which already covers TVR, Ultima and Tiger Racing to name just several British motor manufacturers.

MG is the longest established name in British motorsport, and one of the most well-known British marques since our motor industry began. The classics are often covered, but what about the later cars? Cars like the MGF/TF, and the ‘Zed’ range of vehicles? Mass-produced saloons and hatches they may be, but they’re often owned by people who are not in the dark about the importance of the history behind that octagon on the bonnet, and we believe these people would actively seek a workshop who view their car as they themselves do.

To that end, we’re currently compiling a fully-priced service menu, as well as a typical repair menu covering the usual suspects such as KV6 timing belt changes, K-series headgasket repair (and remedy) and even cures for the dreaded VIS ‘death rattle’, all of which to appear on our website shortly.

In the meantime, please contact us on 01329 220755, or email us via the ‘contact us’ link on this website for any enquiries you may have.

OPEN DAY! – 13/07/2013

We’re pleased to announced we’ve finally found the time to arrange a workshop open day for 2013! Many of you will remember we didn’t get a chance last year, but we hope to bring the biggest (most bestest) Southways open day to date.

The day will take play on July 13th 2013 and will kick off at around 10-10:30am. More details will be posted as and when on our Facebook page under the ‘Events’ section (you don’t need to be a Facebook user to view the page).

All our team will be in attendance to show you around the workshop and what we do. We’ll have a number of vehicles on display, including two special new projects we’ve got lined up. The BMW E46 M3 Touring we have been building will also be leaving at the end of the day to return to Norway. It’s likely there will be (just a) few TVRs and kit cars to have a nose over, including the ropiest Chimaera in the UK – ‘Rob’.

We hope to see you there!

Please note, with immediate effect we have changed our workshop opening hours. Our opening hours are now as follows:

Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 6:00pm

Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm

Saturday: By appointment only

Many thanks.
