It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the departure of our first demonstrator SuperCat model.

“Blackcat” as it is affectionately known, is a 2009 Chester-Sports cars built SuperCat. It was purchased at the time we took over the SuperCat manufacturing rights from Tiger Racing as a short-term demonstrator model. Powered by a 2.0 Pinto engine running Kawasaki bike-carbs and Chester’s own computerised ignition management system, it was the car we developed our retro-fit Quick-Rack steering set-up on.

We’re hugely fond of the car; it’s proven to be exceptionally reliable and fun. Big congratulations to Dom, who jumped on the car after it had only been advertised for a short while. The advert never even made it to our website (sorry!) We’ve every confidence the car will provide him with all the thrills and none of the spills (hopefully!)  Keep an eye out for the car in and around north-Hampshire, and if you do see it give Dom a little wave.

But every cloud has a silver lining……BumbleCat draws nearer!

PROJECT BLOG – Spring brings a Sonic to our workshop…..

A welcome arrival in our workshop is the MEV Sonic 7, a car we’re featuring in a blog on our Facebook page. You can find that page here:

This particular car arrived with us fully assembled, but in need of commissioning and IVA-friendly adjustments.  We’ve yet to have any of the MEV products in and this being the first, we really quite like it!  It’s a nice kit, well finished and it looks great.  It also makes efficient use of the Focus donor parts.  Thumbs up from us!

ROLLING ROAD OPEN DAY – Confirmed March 17th 2012

We’re delighted to announce that we’ll be holding a rolling road open day on the above date.  Power runs will be offered at the heavily discounted rate of just £25 each!  The doors will open at 9am and we aim to be able to squeeze in around 15 – 20 cars before we shut the doors.

The rollers are rated up to 550hp at the wheels and are suitable for 2WD vehicles only.

If you’d like to book a slot, please contact us or R.S.V.P using the Facebook ‘event’ we have created on our Facebook page.  Please don’t just turn up on the day (unless you want to watch) as we cannot guarantee to fit you in.

Hopefully we’ll see you there!

eBay Shop Address Altered…..

Purely for those who’ve subscribed or bookmarked our eBay store, we’ve done a bit of house-keeping and had a reshuffle.  The eBay shop URL is now:

Please note the existing address is now void, so it will no longer work.  You will need to resubscribe to the new one.

All the existing SuperCat parts are listed and new ones will continue to appear.

Many thanks
